Fellows Dr. Carolyn Ramírez and Gabriel Gadsden join the Agents of Change in Environmental Justice podcast to discuss some eye- and mind-opening books they’ve been reading on environmental justice.

Ramírez, a staff scientist at the Natural Resources Defense Council, and Gadsden, a Ph.D. student of Environmental Sciences at Yale University’s School of the Environment, discuss “Waging a Good War: A Military History of the Civil Rights Movement, 1954-1968” by Thomas E. Ricks, and “Pollution Is Colonialism” by Max Liboiron. They both outline how the books will shape their work and research moving forward.
